A VISION HAS BEEN REALISED
The skiing area of the lift organisation ‘Bergbahnen AG Wagrain’ consists of the two legendary skiing mountains Grafenberg & Grießenkareck. Separated in the valley by the village centre of Wagrain the two mountains have now been joined at their mid stations by a direct cablecar link called the G-link. Now skiiers and hikers can move freely from one mountain to another without having to decend into the valley and go through the village!
The skiing area of the lift organisation ‘Bergbahnen AG Wagrain’ combined with the areas of Sankt Johann/Alpendorf and Flachau creates a very extensive, attractive skiing area. This connection is a central building block of the Salzburg district sports world (Flachau, Wagrain, St. Johann/Alpendorf, Radstadt, Altenmarkt/Zauchensee, Kleinarl, Eben, Filzmoos), which in itself forms the centre of Austria’s largest skiing entertainment – Ski amadé.
